Artistic research project Ele - Kinesthetic Empathy In Video Image

Laura Jantunen and Ilmari Karhu are working on a four year research project (2018-2021) about video as a choreographical practice and the video image’s possibility to evoke kinesthetic empathy in spectator. In the project choreography is viewed as organisation of non-bodily particles in digital environment and in physical space.

During the early stages of the project the artists have explored kinesthetics research in philosophy, neuroscience, film, and dance.
